Cars in Germany's Town Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities mentioned they were alerted by a resident who discovered a car in Hanau covered with reddish substance

Around fifty cars have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Cars, walls and postboxes were defaced, in some cases with swastikas, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement say they were alerted late on Wednesday, when a individual discovered that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued fluid.

The substance had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Officers then located many other marked cars and residential walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state initial examinations show the liquid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no lead as to its source; officials are presently not aware of any injuries in relation with the incident," they stated.

Local authorities stated they were working "to solve the incident" and have asked to the public for details.

A senior representative commented the attack made him without words and had to be resolved quickly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the right-wing violent incident in 2020," he wrote on a platform, recalling the death of nine people by a gunman aiming at individuals of migrant background in February 2020.
